What time are your worship services?
We have two worship services on Sunday morning. Our First Worship, which is a contemporary worship service, starts at 8:45 a.m. Our main worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Both services last approximately one hour.

Do you offer any programs during the week?
We have a midweek program called Grace Connection. This program includes a meal (5:30 to 6:30 p.m.) followed by programs. Grace Connection meets from mid-August through mid-May. Once a month, we offer a special program for all ages. Every other week in the month, we offer a variety of classes for adults and a Kid’s Club. We offer a nursery for the very young. The Grace Connection brochure offers more details on dates and programs.

Do you offer child care during your worship services?
Child care is available during our worship services. We also have a comfort room located at the back of our sanctuary, if you decide to keep your child with you in worship.

What are your regular office hours?
Shallowford’s administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Offices are located beneath the Sanctuary; look on the left for a red awning as you approach the building from the front parking lot.
Main Office Telephone: 404.321.1844
Main Office Fax: 404.321.1890

Where do I park?
Parking is available in the front lot on Shallowford Road. Wheelchair accessible parking is available along the left side of the building and in the rear parking lot (adjacent to the preschool). Overflow parking for Christmas Eve is next door at the Church in Atlanta. Easter shuttles operate from announced locations.

What is the easiest way to enter and exit the facilities if I have mobility issues?
If someone can drop you off, enter at the porte cochere on the left side of the building. A covered ramp leads to the door to the Atrium, where you can use ramps or elevators to reach other parts of the facility.

If you are driving your own vehicle, park in the wheelchair accessible spaces in the back lot and enter at the porte cochere at the Preschool entrance. During school hours, use the intercom to gain entrance. On Sundays and for major programs, this door is open. You can take elevators to other parts of the facility.

Do I have to be a Presbyterian to come to your church?
You do not have to be a Presbyterian to attend any of our services, programs, or events.  Our doors are open to everyone!

Can I hold a special event at Shallowford Presbyterian Church?
You may use Shallowford's facilities for special events, but each request must be approved by our local missions committee. There may be a fee for the use of the building. Read more about our procedures and policies and return the Facilities Use Request Form to Carol Payne.
