Let’s play BINGO on Sunday, March 5th, and together, we will help raise funds to send Shallowford’s 3rd through 5th graders to the Montreat Worship & Music Conference in June!
What is Montreat Worship and Music? Why is it important for our kids to attend? This intergenerational conference put on by the Presbyterian Association of Musicians exists to help create formative and collaborative experiences with God and neighbor, to nurture relationships, and create community. Each day, our children will attend worship, Choir, Bible class, Music class, and Recreation. While at the conference, they get to meet children from all over the country, learn from an amazing choral director, try new forms of music, and experience worship in new ways. Will you help us reach our fundraising goal of $3,000 to cover food and housing for the week?
Event Details
How will it work? Meet us in the Great Hall at 3:00 p.m. and purchase as many BINGO cards as you would like ($5 for a set of 5 cards). You my also purchase tickets for the 50/50 Raffle ($10 for one ticket, or $15 for two tickets) for a chance to win a prize if your name is drawn.The lucky winner will receive half of the dollar amount raised through ticket sales. The other half goes directly toward paying for the trip. The more tickets you purchase, the higher your odds are of winning!
In addition to BINGO cards, and raffle tickets, you may also choose to purchase ticket(s) ($1 each) for the Table of Treasures Raffle. See a treasure you would like? Place your ticker in the jar next to that particular item. Items will be raffled off after the last BINGO game.
