All Church Retreat
October 5 @ 6:00 pm - October 7 @ 12:00 pm
Generations in the Church
Join us as we explore how we encounter God and God’s family in different ways at different stages of our lives. What does adolescence teach us about play? What does being a young adult teach us about spiritual flexibility and adventure? What does middle age teach us about being an entrepreneur in church? What does aging teach us about God’s grace? Find your and others’ spiritual graces as we linger in the ages and stages of our faith.
We are excited to return to Callaway Gardens this year for our 4th Annual Congregational Retreat. Our retreat will be on a new weekend, October 5 though October 7, 2018. Special speaker, Jenelle Holmes, will join us as she shares and explores the Generations in the Church. All are invited and encouraged to join us for a weekend of fun and fellowship. Don’t miss your opportunity to sign up and join! Scholarships are available. We are thrilled to announce that Rev. John M. Semmes, our Interim Pastor, will join us. If you have any questions, contact Bradley Kibler.

Jenelle is a Washington State native who has fallen in love with the Atlanta sunshine. She graduated from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University and served at Trinity Presbyterian in Atlanta as their Director of Spiritual Formation where she helped launch their Young Adult ministry. Currently, Jenelle is serving and planting a new church, Ormewood Church, in Southeast Atlanta through the New Church Development Commission of the Atlanta Presbytery. Ormewood focuses on being a neighborhood church that “welcomes everyone to explore the living God in our neighborhoods.” Jenelle is married and has two beautiful children. We look forward to exploring the many different families of the church with Jenelle!
The Mountain Creek Inn provides comfortable and affordable lodging including smoke-free rooms with queen beds and easy access to parking. Inn amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, ballrooms and free Wi-Fi access. Plus, enjoy daily admission to Callaway Gardens throughout our stay.
