Pigs On Fire: Annual All-Church BBQ Potluck
October 29 @ 12:00 pm
Celebrate Stewardship Sunday in the Great Hall on October 29, 2017. Following 11:00 am worship, we will enjoy homemade BBQ galore!
What? Pigs on Fire is a Shallowford tradition celebrating the completion of the Stewardship season. It is a huge church-wide potluck lunch where everyone brings food they lovingly prepare to share with others.
When? This year it is Sunday, October 29, 2017 immediately following the 11:00 am service.
Who? Members have volunteered to provide BBQ meats of all kinds or their favorite interpretation of Brunswick stew. You are asked to bring a vegetable, salad, dessert, or another side dish to round out our meal together.
How? Bring your prepared food to the kitchen before the 11:00 am service. Drinks are provided. There is no cost to share in the meal. Remember to bring serving spoons for your dish. No electrical serving devices, please. Disposable containers are recommended.
