Over the next 6 months, the International Rescue Committee of Atlanta (IRC) will resettle over 1,000 Afghan evacuees. Shallowford is eager to welcome our new neighbors through IRC’s Family Sponsorship Program H.O.M.E (Housing Outreach Mission Education). In collaboration with IRC, H.O.M.E teams assist with apartment/home set-up, targeted financial assistance, and ongoing mentorship during a family’s first six months in the United States.

If you have questions about the resettlement process, please contact Prue Swerlick.

With great appreciation,

The Shallowford Refugee Resettlement Committee
