The First Worship 8:45 am
The First Worship service, held Sundays in the Chapel, 8:45-9:30 am, is an intimate service that includes prayer, scripture, congregational hymns, and a message from the pastor. It is a smaller setting than the 11 am service, perfect for early risers. On the second Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Communion). We love welcoming guests, so bring the family! Nursery is available.
Service of the Lord’s Day 11:00 am
We gather for worship (the Service for the Lord’s Day) on Sundays, 11 am – 12 pm, in the Sanctuary. Normally this service includes prayers, Scripture readings, hymns and a sermon, following an order of service. Music, a vibrant part of our worship, is led by our thriving adult, youth and children’s choirs, as well as our organist, bell choirs and guest orchestra ensembles. We observe the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) on the second Sunday of each month. We love welcoming guests into our family — join us! Nursery is available. Check out some recent sermons and musical offerings from worship.
Throughout the year, a variety of special services are offered at Shallowford; check our events to see what’s coming up.
