Accessibility & Parking

When you visit Shallowford you will be greeted by a volunteer at the bottom of the hill to help point you in the right direction. Shallowford has a large parking lot visible from Shallowford Road with plenty of accessible parking located at the main and side entrances. If you have concerns about accessibility know we have elevators, accessible parking, and volunteers ready to help make sure you make it into the building comfortably and easily.

Hospitality

Sunday Mornings

8:30 AM

A 45-minute service in the chapel complete with scripture, hymns, and a sermon. This service is perfect for early risers and those who prefer a more intimate worship experience. The nursery is available for children under two years of age.

Adult Sunday School

9:30 AM

Through individual Sunday School offerings, children, youth, and adults of all ages learn and grow in their faith through thoughtfully prepared lessons. Each class offers many different study focuses and formats designed to fit the needs of all participants. Visit a class.

Sunday Worship

11:00 AM

A 60-minute service in the sanctuary and via livestream, including full choir, guest instrumentalists, scripture, hymns, and a sermon. The nursery is available for children under two years of age.

Attend in person or via livestream.

12:00 PM

Lemonade and cookies are available for worshippers following 11:00 a.m. worship. Meet us right outside for food, fun, and fellowship!

Visitor Classes & Membership

No matter where you are on your journey of faith, there is a place for you among this community of believers.  Discovering Shallowford classes are held multiple times per year and provide an opportunity to learn about Shallowford’s mission and vision and about the Christian faith in the 21st century, and are where you might find a home in the life and ministry of this congregation.

Ministries for All Ages

At Shallowford our priority is to form a lasting group of faith seekers. We offer a variety of opportunities for men, women, and children of all ages to connect and engage in the life of the church. Whether you’re looking to meet weekly or monthly, our community groups help guide you through your faith and fellowship.

Children

At Shallowford we seek to help children grown in their faith with the guidance and love from adult volunteers and staff.

Youth

Shallowford is a fun-loving community where teens (grades 6-12) can come to let loose, be accepted, and hear God’s truth from the Bible.

Adults

Adults of all ages are invited in for small group conversation, Bible Study, book clubs, retreats, and social gatherings.

Sacred Space – Church Magazine

Keep in touch with past, present, and future events, activities, and offerings  inside Shallowford’s official church magazine! Sacred Space offers  articles written from member perspectives, staff profiles, ministry highlights, mission partner relationships, and other current news and events. Within these pages, our goal is the share the light of Christ and embrace the connection and love that is so evident among our Shallowford congregation.
