Food Pantry

Shallowford is a food assistance site of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Our church food pantry provides groceries to DeKalb County resident individuals and families, up to four times a year per family. We serve over 400 families and distribute more than 15,000 pounds of food a year.

Need assistance?

Our Food Pantry is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Before you come, give us a call (404-321-1844) to reserve a spot; no client fee or donation is required. Identification cards for all family members are needed at the time of arrival. Shallowford Presbyterian Church is on MARTA routes 33 and 126. For driving directions,  click here. Once you arrive at the church, enter through the church office door under the red awning. We’re so glad we can help feed our local community!

How You Can Help

Donate Food Items, currently we need: powdered milk, canned fruits, rice, cornbread mix, mac&cheese, grits and pasta sauce. Please place donations in the grocery carts in the Atrium. Check out the list of requested food items, and join us in providing support for this ministry.

Work the desk in the main office, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday – choose your calendar schedule!

Be a shopper, the church purchases food to supplement donated items to complete each family bag. We need drivers to give their time and energy to grocery shop.
