We are continuing the series, Shallowford Works, with a panel of experts from the business field. Shallowford members Steve Benise, Genny Tuggey and Diane Procinno share how their faith informs their work. Join Shallowford Presbyterian Women on a trip to the High Museum of Art on Thursday, January 18, 2018, followed by lunch. Cost is minimal plus lunch. The group will leave from the Shallowford Presbyterian Church parking lot at 9:30 am.

On Sunday, January 28, 2018, Shallowford will team up with Rise Against Hunger (formerly known as Stop Hunger Now), an organization focused on helping to end hunger! You are invited to the Great Hall to pack nutrient-rich meals for the undernourished globally.
Shallowford’s Young Adult Small Group will dive into the Lent study guide A Practical Christianity this spring, but before they do so the group has agreed to ring in the New Year by giving back. On Sunday, January 28, small group members will join the Shallowford congregation for the annual Rise Against Hunger packing party to help end hunger. Dive deeper into your faith by attending our Discovering Shallowford classes February 4, 208 and February 11, 2018 in Heritage Hall at 9:30 am. Rev. All adults are invited to an overnight spiritual retreat on February 12 & 13 at Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. The spiritual retreat offers a time for individual and group reflection, prayer, and meditation. If you have questions, contact Denise Johnson.
On Saturday, April 21, 2018, Shallowford members, and neighbors and friends are invited gather as one for a special event featuring prominent Christian pastor, author, speaker and activist Brian McLaren at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
This summer the Shallowford youth have an incredible opportunity to mobilize through Experience Mission and help our neighbors in a time of great need. We will unplug from our regular lives, including our electronics, and immerse ourselves in mission.
Join us for our annual Montreat experience. Throughout the week, we will hear great speakers and preachers, participate in energizers and recreation, and have fellowship in small groups. Deposit of $100 is due December 1, 2017. Total Cost of $275 is due April 1, 2018.
