Let Us Pray…
O Lord,
as the war and turmoil in the Middle East continues to grow,
we continue to pray, lament, grieve, and hope.
We pray for the people of Israel,
lament the terrorist attacks and war crimes,
and grieve for every life lost.
As a church, we do not know the solution to the conflict,
but we know that you call us to hope for a day
when God’s peace will reign on earth as in heaven.
May it be so.
