Learn about the music and culture of West Africa in a fun, high-energy group drumming class at SPC! The class meets on Thursdays from 7 – 8:30 pm in the covered, lighted pavilion behind the church. Classes are taught by Chuck Cogliandro of Kumandi Drums.
Each new series is taught in six classes, and all levels are welcome, including beginners. The next session starts on September 21st and ends with a final class on October 26th. Register by September 18th for the early discount price of $90 for the series. (After September 18th, it’s $105.) To help beginners get started, some drums are available to rent with advance notice.
