Thornwell provides safe and loving homes for children in need, offers hope for a brighter future through education and community-based programs, and encourages wholeness and healing with counseling and support. Each November, Shallowford fills turkey banks with coins to help children in need. Last year, Shallowford children and families traveled to Thornwell’s home base in Clinton, South Carolina, to tour the campus and to participate in community outreach projects.
